Chris has received four Telly Awards, his short documentary Unauthorized Drone Strike Zone won the Award for Social Consciousness at VisionFest, and his edit of Cookie Monster's music video "Me Want It (But Me Wait)" was viewed on YouTube over 15 million times.
Recently Chris FINALLY finished Game of Death Redux -- a re-edit and restoration of Bruce Lee's unfinished 70s film starring Lee and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Chris is currently working on a documentary about Bruce Lee and this film.
Last year Chris completed editing and color grading on The Beaning, an experimental short exploring a sinister theory surrounding the death of Cleveland baseball player Ray Chapman, who was killed from a 'bean’ ball delivered by Yankee pitcher Carl Mays in 1920. This film screened at DOC NYC, Seattle International Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, The Overlook Film Festival, and Palm Springs International ShortFest. Chris is also the Editor and Colorist of Bad Dog: A Penitentiary Tale. This documentary sheds light on the legend about a dog sentenced to life in prison at Pennsylvania's infamous Eastern State Penitentiary. It screened at the Nantucket Film Festival, DOC NYC, and DOC LA.
Additionally, Chris is the Online Editor for the indie feature Mad Full Of Dreams, part of The Anthology Film Archives, 'New Filmmakers' series.
And his screenplay, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, reached the finals at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival.
